Insights from Jeremy Erwin, Senior Solutions Consultant - Enterprise at Celigo, at PPAI Expo 2025

At PPAI Expo 2025, we had the pleasure of speaking with Jeremy Erwin, Senior Solutions Consultant - Enterprise at Celigo. With a focus on automation and integration, Jeremy shared how Celigo is addressing the unique challenges faced by businesses in the promotional products industry. From leveraging AI to streamlining processes, his insights provide a compelling look at how technology can drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Q: What brings you to PPAI, and what do you want to get out of the conference?

Jeremy Erwin: At Celigo, we’re focused on simplifying and automating business processes for promotional companies. These processes, such as order-to-cash, often vary widely between businesses due to their unique needs. Our goal is to free up time and resources so companies can focus on more important tasks, driving customer satisfaction. In today’s world, everyone expects quick and transparent service—what I like to call the “Amazon effect.” Customers want to know the status of their orders and shipments instantly. We aim to help our clients meet these expectations by streamlining operations and enabling better fulfillment and order management.

Q: What are the things you’re doing to stand out and act as your key differentiators?

Jeremy Erwin: Integration is a challenge, no matter how you approach it. At Celigo, we strive to simplify this process by building AI into our platform. For instance, our error management tool uses AI to detect, summarize, and auto-resolve issues. Additionally, we’ve integrated AI into other areas, such as data transformation and mapping, so that any business user—not just IT professionals—can manage these automations. This approach makes integration accessible and efficient for everyone.

Q: What are the key problems you’re hoping to solve via AI?

Jeremy Erwin: Efficiency is the key focus. Many users don’t have technical expertise in APIs or system development. By incorporating AI, we simplify processes like error monitoring and resolution. For example, when orders fail to integrate with an ERP or shipments don’t update on an e-commerce platform, our AI systems summarize these issues in layman’s terms and notify users to resolve them quickly. This eliminates unnecessary delays and improves overall productivity.

Q: What are you doing in your internal sales process with data to go into the market?

Jeremy Erwin: Data is a huge driver for us. We use platforms like ZoomInfo and other sources to gather insights about prospects and customers. By enhancing and analyzing this data, we gain a clearer picture of customer needs, industry trends, and business processes. This enables us to build integrations and solutions that align with our customers' objectives and challenges.

Q: How do you best use data effectively?

Jeremy Erwin: Celigo specializes in bringing data from disparate systems into a single source of truth, such as a CRM or ERP. Our hub-and-spoke model allows businesses to centralize their data, making it easier to access and use. Once the architecture is in place, we build automations to support seamless data flow, allowing businesses to focus on growth rather than administrative tasks.

Q: How are you thinking of leveraging the momentum you’re building here?

Jeremy Erwin: A big part of our strategy is sharing industry expertise. Many companies in this space aren’t familiar with APIs or automation and still rely on outdated methods like faxes. By showing them how automation and integration can benefit their operations and sharing insights from similar clients, we aim to provide a clear competitive advantage. Partnering with leading systems like NetSuite and other ERP ecosystems further strengthens our value proposition.

Q: Anything else you want to call out?

Jeremy Erwin: AI continues to be a major focus across industries, but it’s important to think of it as a tool rather than a solution for everything. At Celigo, we use AI to simplify business processes and improve access to critical data across systems. If any of this resonates, we’d love to have a conversation.

Jeremy Erwin's insights at PPAI Expo 2025 underscore the transformative potential of automation and AI in the promotional products industry. By simplifying integration processes, leveraging data to drive decision-making, and offering accessible tools for business users, Celigo is empowering companies to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. With a strong focus on industry expertise and partnerships, Celigo is well-positioned to continue leading innovation in the space.
